Dante's Inferno is a poem written in 1320 that is still considered to be one of the greatest works in literature.  It was instrumental in initiating the Renaissance which changed the world forever.  Dante influenced our opinions on right and wrong, and taught us to question the teachings of authority.  700 years later some of us are still talking about Dante.
